Trip to Taj Mahal

15 hour day visiting The Taj Mahal in the city of Agra.  It was a 3hr drive there from our hotel and worth it!  Our day started off very foggy, but upon our arrival most of the fog had lifted. (Top Pic) is the first view of the Taj Mahal as I walked through the gate, (Second Pic) is my usual "feet" shot with the iconic Taj Mahal, (Third Pic) is an auto rickshaw, (Bottom Pic) is the Grand Gate to the grounds that lead to the Taj Mahal.  It's such an impressive place to visit, the history itself is a story of love and devotion.

Buying Spices

Buying spices from a vendor.  The smell is amazing and the the colors burst as do the flavors in the many dishes they are used in.  It's an art in the balance of spices that rewards you with savory flavors your pallet has never experienced before and leaves you wanting more.  What wonderful dishes!

School Child on Field Trip

While visiting the Lalbagh Botanical Gardens, there were lots of school children on field trips to the gardens.  This little boy locked eyes with me as I photographed him.  The kids were so well behaved, full of smiles and happy to say hi.

While in Abu Dhabi we took a trip to visit the largest mosque in the United Arab Emirates
